Mal Pearson has been an entrepreneur from a young age, so it’s no surprise she started LVCMag before she even turned 20! Growing up as a city girl at heart while living in the Midwest, Mal learned to appreciate fashion as a way to show her personality and express herself. After moving to New York City to study Theatre at NYU (a dream she had since she was four), Mal was diagnosed with West Nile Virus and spent the next few years battling the illness. It was through this trial Mal realized how important perseverance, drive and even fashion truly are. Style websites were a way to escape to a world where everything was beautiful, while still being in the comfort of her own home. After learning she couldn’t return to school, Mal (who was never very good at sitting still!) decided to start an online fashion magazine to make fashion accessible to all women no matter what their age or budget. La Vie Cherie (LVC), which means “the darling life, the cherished life” in French, was the perfect name to complement the style sections, but also to allow for inspirational stories and advice on a myriad of topics. Using the Darling Life and the Cherished Life to bring together style and substance, Mal’s passion is for women to know they are confident, beautiful and can accomplish anything they dream up…just as she has!

Senior Manager of Public Relations and Marketing / Online Editor

Growing up on a farm and finding her way into the fashion industry, this broadcasting graduate helps keep LVCMag in the spotlight. With her gift of gab and media background, the Senior Manager of Public Relations and Marketing role comes naturally. Securing press pages and interviews, coordinating film shoots, and speaking with advertisers are all in a day’s work, but she still finds time to write about her love for fashion as an Online Editor. When she’s not shopping online for herself or her friends, she enjoys baking a to-die-for batch of brownies, working out, seeing new movies, and spending time with friends and family!

Associate Managing Editor

One part school nerd and two parts fashionista are what compose this Nebraska native (Go Huskers!) and English major, making it very easy for her to happily fine-tune the articles churned out by LVCMag’s talented writers. In between proofing and writing articles, Meredith enjoys spending time with her husband, dancing, playing with her cat Lucky (a.k.a. “Pookie” – he won’t answer to anything else), drooling over all things Chanel, and being a baking/cooking fiend in the kitchen.

A talented artist and graphic designer, Lindsay is living her dream of working for a fashion magazine while still doing the thing she loved growing up in the Midwest. In her free time she enjoys traveling, playing outdoors, nights out on the town, concerts and is never too good for a night in- curled up with a hot cup of coffee and her channel 62, Bravo!. She currently is using her many artistic talents to assist with the designing of the upcoming LVCMag T-shirt line, and continues to add flair to LVCMag articles on a daily basis.

When she’s not coding, designing, or making us smile with her sweet personality, she enjoys spending time with her husband, playing with her gorgeous daughter, and building websites.

Geoffrey Palmer is the Production Manager for Sleight Advertising. He works on all in-house creative projects for a wide range of clients. A graduate of Missouri State, Geoffrey brings his expertise in video productions to LVCMag. With the talented staff, Geoffrey creates each episode of the 90 second show LVCTV.
